The 32-year-old scored twice within 32 first half minutes as the hosts roared into a two-goal lead. His first came via a low right-footed shot from close range, before the towering striker added a second from equally close range with his left.
The Dons took their advantage into the interval, but in the second half Bury mounted something of a fight back.

They halved the deficit three minutes after the restart, with Danny Mayor scoring from outside the box.
But Wimbledon would restore their two-goal advantage just five minutes later with Matt Tubbs getting in on the act, and they looked set to run-out comfortable winners.
Bury were then handed a lifeline on 73 minutes when Barry Fuller fouled Chris Hussey in the penalty area, with Ryan Lowe converting from the spot.
It set up a frantic finish to the match, but Neal Ardley's men held on to claim all three points.
