Back home: Charlie Wyke has returned to Middlesbrough

Striker Charlie Wyke has returned to Middlesbrough after his three-month loan spell at the Cherry Red Records stadium came to an end.

Wyke made 17 appearances for the Dons scoring two goals, but the signing of Crystal Palace 'sKwesi Appiah on loan until the end of the season spelt the end of Wyke's stay.

However, the 21-year-old told Dons Players: 'It's been great and I wish Wimbledon all the best for the rest of the season.

'Neal [Ardley] has been excellent with me, I've learned a lot and hopefully I can take that to Middlesbrough now.

'The supporters have been great with me. I will definitely keep looking out for Wimbledon in the future.'
