League Two: AFC Wimbledon v Southend (Cherry Red Records Stadium, 3.07pm)

AFC Wimbledon could all but secure their League Two future with a win away at Roots Hall on Saturday.

The Dons are currently 17th and sit six points ahead of second bottom Northampton and a win could help Neil Ardley's side consolidate their position.

Southend could strengthen their hold on a play-off berth with a win over AFC Wimbledon.

The Essex outfit could make it four wins in a row with victory at the weekend and Phil Brown is hopeful he will back an injured quartet back.

Kevan Hurst, John White, Ryan Leonard and Paul Smith are doubtful but the Roots Hall boss is hoping they will be available.

For Wimbledon, former Millwall centre-half Andy Frampton is available again after a calf injury but Ardley is doubtful of Kevin Sainte-Luce and Alan Bennett's involvement.

Two draws either side of a Mansfield defeat has left Wimbledon without a win in three and they will look to avenge the 1-0 defeat in the reverse fixture to Southend on Boxing day. A Cauley Woodrow goal was enough to earn the win against a 10-man Dons side who had George Francomb sent off.

And Wimbledon will be looking to better their record against the Shrimpers. The Dons have won only one of the last five fixtures against the Essex outfit, that being a 3-1 victory at Roots Hall in March 2013.

The man in the middle for Saturday afternoon's clash is Andrew Madley. The West Yorkshire official has shown 97 yellow cards in his 33 games, sending off two players for two bookable offences, and two straight reds. Madley is yet to send off a player when he has officiated in League Two this season.
