Nick Kyrgios may just be 18 years old; but the level of maturity that the Melbourne-resident owns is unassailable. Despite being trapped by various injuries in the last few months, Kyrgios has set his eyes upon the French Open and the Wimbledon Championships.

'I'm still playing fine, I haven't lost anything,' Kyrgios was quoted as saying by the Sydney Morning Herald. 'I'm probably playing the best I've ever played in the last couple of weeks. I definitely think I can compete at the highest level again. The injuries brought me back down to earth a bit with everything that has happened over the last couple of months.

'I'm just trying to soak everything and get back to work. I'm not too worried [about injuries], it's part of tennis. It's just a thing I'm going to have to learn to deal with. The transition into the senior ranks isn't an easy one. It's physical and you're going to get injuries, you've just got to embrace it and be more consistent when you're healthy.

'I think I'd like to get to the top 100 [this year], that's a good goal to set. But I'm not going to rush back into things. I have to get my confidence back and do what I love. If the wins come, that's a bonus. Everyone works towards the grand slams. If I could get the opportunity again at the French Open and Wimbledon that would be a dream come true.

'The French Open is where it all started, I'm excited to get back there and show what I can do and I think that's where I belong.'
