Date set for trial of teenager accused of killing Croydon teenager Fico Dougan

A 16-year-old boy accused of murdering Thornton Heath teenager Fico Dougan is to stand trial in May.
The boy, of St Augustine's Avenue, South Croydon, appeared at the Old Bailey today charged with stabbing to death 17-year-old Fico in Ockley Road, Broad Green, on September 26 last year.
He entered no plea and is set to stand trial on May 12.
The 16-year-old, formerly of Mitcham, was remanded in custody until the trial.
A post-morterm examination in September found Fico, a John Ruskin College student, died of stab wounds to the heart.
