Wimbledon library, on The Broadway
Wimbledon Library is set to be revamped.
The much loved locally listed library on The Broadway will be redecorated throughout with an additional study space introduced, extra computers and a seating area at the front of the library.
The improvements will be completed in mid-December and during this time opening times will remain the same but there may be some disruption to services.
Councillor Nick Draper, Merton Council's cabinet member for community and culture, said: 'I'm very glad this refurbishment, which has been planned for a long time, is going ahead.
'Wimbledon Library is already a great place for residents to visit and will be even more comfortable, relaxing and suited to our library users once the refurbishments are complete.'
