Tennis: Australian Cricketer Mitchell Johnson has revealed that his ambition was to win Wimbledon Tennis Championship in his childhood, before he chose to become a Cricket player.
According to Australian left-arm fast bowler, his love for Tennis started when a family friend brought a Wimbledon shirt.
'Wimbledon was my goal growing up in Queensland. I remember getting a T-shirt from my grandparents, passed on by a family friend who had gone to watch the tournament.
'That made me want to play there, and it was tennis all the time.
Johnson told that it was his love for family and shyness which became a hurdle in him becoming Tennis player.
'At the age of 13-14 I had to decide whether to move to Brisbane to take it more seriously but I didn't want to leave my family. I was always a pretty shy kid.'
