Afternoon tea at Bill's
Bill's began as a small restaurant in East Sussex and has spread across the South of England.
Wimbledon was blessed with its own branch about a year ago in Hartfield Road, across the road from Wimbledon station.
Grocery-filled shelves line the walls, all on offer to purchase, alongside rustic style tables and chairs.
The food is varied, yet remains simple.
I opted for marinated chicken skewers, served on sultana, coriander and lemon cous cous with tzatziki and pitta bread.
It was lip-smackingly delicious and left me wanting more. I washed it down with a glass of Bill's house red wine, which was fairly decent.
Bill's is also located in Putney High Street.
