Sportsworld has topped the podium after winning the hospitality award at the annual International Sports Event Management (ISEM) awards.
The London-based firm aced the category for the delivery and management of their official Wimbledon programme, according to a team of sports industry experts.
Sportsworld, part of the TUI Sports division, was recognised for its Fairway Village luxury hospitality complex at the 2013 Wimbledon Championships.
It beat rivals including Keith Prowse (also for Wimbledon), Octagon (for the FIFA Confederation Cup), Icon (for the UEFA Champions League) and Mutua (for the Mutua Madrid Open).
The company took gold for its strong commercial strategy when corporate budgets are under pressure, according to the judges, who said Sportsworld met all the criteria when delivering a VIP hospitality experience.
'It is a terrific endorsement and reward for our Wimbledon team who worked tirelessly to provide the highest level of customer service.' said Mike Stevens, Sportsworld's events services director.
