Burton Albion denied by late Jones leveller for AFC Wimbledon

A GOAL in the 96th minute undid all the hard work by Burton Albion as they drew 1-1 in their League Two clash with AFC Wimbledon.

Billy Kee, who missed from the penalty spot against Oxford United last weekend, gave Gary Rowett 's side a 22nd minute lead from the spot at the Pirelli Stadium.

However, a very, very late goal from Darren Jones saw the visitors nick a point.

Rowett named an unchanged starting XI, with Ian Sharps still injured and Marcus Holness retaining his place at the back, while Lee Bell also kept his spot in midfield.

Jack Dyer and youngster Liam Slade came onto the bench in place of the injured-again Michael Symes and Chris Hussey, who left the club during the week.

Burton took the lead in the 22nd minute as Zeli Ismail played in Knowles, who cut past one defender before being fouled by Bennett.

Kee missed his last spot-kick, but made no mistake with this one, powering his shot down the middle to record his 13th goal of the season.

And Burton dominated the second half before Jones' late equaliser for Chester.
